Our

STORY
BFF Publishing House LLC was founded in the spring of 2017 by Antionette "Toni" Mutcherson, MBA, a certified life coach, author, and publishing expert. Originally established to amplify the voices of young authors, BFF Publishing House began by publishing books written by children, for children. While we remain committed to supporting young writers, our primary focus has evolved to publishing adult authors—helping them bring their stories to life and share their unique perspectives with the world.

BFF stands for Books For the Future, reflecting our mission to publish meaningful and impactful literature that inspires both readers and writers. As a minority-owned independent publishing house, we are dedicated to fostering diversity in literature and ensuring that underrepresented voices are heard.

With a deep passion for storytelling, Antionette Mutcherson has guided numerous first-time authors through the challenges of sharing their personal stories. Whether through autobiographies, devotionals, memoirs, biographies, plays, poetry, dystopian fiction, satires, or thrillers, we help writers transform their experiences and ideas into powerful narratives.

At BFF Publishing House, we believe in the power of storytelling to change lives. Our mission is to provide a platform for authors—both emerging and established—to publish bold, inspiring, and culturally relevant works that leave a lasting impact.
BFF PUBLISHING HOUSE
Let's Make it Write
In 2016, the Cooperative Children’s Book Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison found that out of 3,400 kids’ books, fewer than one-quarter of them featured a main character who was black, Asian, Latino or Native American.
In 2017, only 71% of the 278 (25.5%) books about African-Americans were illustrated or written by African Americans.

In 2018, you can make a difference. "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or... some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." - 44th President of The USA, Barack Hussein Obama. BFF Publishing House commits itself to increase the number of published African American and other minority Authors and Illustrators.
Do it For The Culture
The best time to write a children's book is WRITE now. With your creativity and with BFF Publishing House's expertise we can re-write the children's book statistics on the disappropiation of diversity in children’s books.
